Rose Njeri is an established entrepreneur enjoying her success despite tarmacking for years due to unemployment.

Njeri, just like any other university graduate, had bigger dreams of securing employment with a multi-national firm to explore her gained experience.

Unfortunately, her career did not turn up as the Family Science Degree holder expected. She was jobless for years.

Njeri kept her hope alive by relocating to the United States of America where she got a second chance in life, allowing her to run two companies

Njeri is the founder of Rosefit Apparel, an American online company that sells personal training gear to customers in Kenya and the United States (US).

She founded the company in 2018 out of her inspiration of being self-employed. The now renowned company was started with a capital of Ksh100,000.

"I have mainly worked for myself. I fell in love with entrepreneurship," Njeri stated in a past interview with the Business Daily.

The inspiration behind an online training apparel company was also from her personal experience in healthy living and wellness journey.

"I started Rosefit Apparel after five years of personal training. I used to buy activewear all the time so I figured it was best to use that money and invest in my business," she remarked.

She added, "I started with selling tanks tops and t-shirts only. Once I introduced leggings and sports bras I had clients ordering from Kenya which inspired me to bring the clothes to Kenya to avoid the high shipping fees from the States."

Her online company sells products such as leggings, sports bras, tank tops, plus sizes, and men's activewear.

She has attracted top athletes wearing her brands with the price range being between Ksh2,000 to Ksh5,000.

"Our customer is truly everyone, we have activewear that caters to everyone. We have now introduced menswear and hopefully, next, we will have children's activewear too. Why? We never want to leave anyone behind. We want everyone to find comfortable activewear from our brand," she stated.

Other than the online venture, Njeri is also running a real estate company in the US and now extending its services in Kenya.

Njeri's construction business in the US purchases distressed properties, fixes them, and then resells them for a profit.

In Kenya, she has invested in an upcoming condominium in the Nairobi Upper Hill area among other real estate projects.'
