Forgive Me - Mzee Kibor's Last Meeting With Three Wives

Eldoret Businessman Jackson Kiprotich Kibor famously known as Mzee Kibor reportedly held a series of last meetings with his family members before he succumbed to illness on Wednesday, March 16. 

The powerful Moi-era politician was said to have asked for forgiveness and reconciled his three wrangling wives.

His wives Josephine Kibor, Naomi Kibor, and Yunita Kibor, concurred adding that they have been living in peace since attending the meeting.

"A few days ago, Mzee Kibor convened a meeting and humbly asked for forgiveness. He even reconciled us that is why we are all gathered here," one of his wives stated on Thursday, March 17 at his Kabenes home in Uasin Gishu County.

Mzee Kibor’s first wife passed away in 2010. His divorce cases also made headlines, with the tycoon accusing some of his wives of desertion, physical abuse, cruelty, and denial of conjugal rights.

The three widows, nonetheless, described the deceased as a family man who loved them despite the challenges in their marriage.

To further avert cases of property wrangles, Kibor, christened as the chairman of the Men's Conference,  an imaginary event that takes place annually on February 14 distributed his wealth among all family members including his 20 children.

The wives however did not reveal how his land, property and other assets worth millions were shared. 

"He was a strict person, he could even discipline all his children that is why his life was full of controversies. But as you can see, all his kids are gathered here, and means he instilled discipline to all of them," Josephine Kibor, his second wife stated.

According to the wives, before he was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit for kidney failure, Kibor conveyed a prayer meeting at his home in Kabenes.

He has since been mourned by top leaders including Deputy President William Ruto, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi among others.
