Georgie Ndirangu

Over the last couple of years, the former British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) journalist has landed lucrative opportunities moderating international events.

Ndiragu- who started his career as a data intern at the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) in 2011 has shared the stage with prominent leaders in the political and business industry.

He is one of the journalists who moderated various forums during the just-concluded Commonwealth Head of Governments Meeting (CHOGM).

His numerous events have seen him nicknamed 'the global moderator' among his colleagues and fans.

"Can’t keep calm. I waited almost 2 years for this week! The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, 3 days of hosting and moderating. A huge opportunity for Georgie hosts. Wish me luck.

"Thanks for gassing me up when we first introduced the title “Global Moderator” looks like it’s caught on," he stated before the start of the event.

Ndirangu has also been a moderator of YouthConnekt in Rwanda and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa for close to 4 years.

Anne Kiguta

Despite keeping a low profile after leaving K24 in 2020, the former news anchor has moderated several international events following her departure from the media.

Similar to Ndirangu, Kiguta was among the few journalists moderating the commonwealth leaders' meeting in Rwanda.

Other organisations the former KTN anchor has hosted events for include the United Nations (UN).

Julie Gichuru

Just like Ndirangu and Kiguta, the former Citizen TV journalist was one of the moderators in the just concluded commonwealth event.

Gichuru, currently working at Mastercard Foundations is arguably one of the most decorated moderators in the country.

She has hosted world leaders such as Jack Ma and former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo and moderated events organised by YouthConnekt, and World Bank among others.
