"Today I sign off and say goodbye. Here is to new opportunities that I will share really soon. Thank you for watching and supporting my stories and programs, forever grateful. May God bless you all," she explained.

A manager, who worked closely with the TV star, confirmed that Kerubo had been serving notice at the station.

Kerubo has had stints at Mediamax Network Limited where she worked as a business reporter as well as CCTV Africa where she was a business writer.

Her departure comes barely two days after a reporter from the station, Ibrahim Karanja, left the media house for a position at NTV.

Karanja was the channel's correspondent based in Nakuru where the Moi family-owned media house has a bureau. He is renowned for his ability to handle different assignments including politics and crime, with his signature authoritative voice.

"Yes, this is his final week that he will be working at KTN," the source told Kenyans.co.ke.

Karanja had over three years of experience at the station, having joined the Standard Group in September 2018 as a reporter, based in Nyeri before being moved to Nakuru.

KTN News has also been hit by a mini-reshuffle that saw its reporter Kevin Ogutu exit while other senior reporters were re-assigned reporting beats.
