Two police officers were captured on CCTV camera trading blows at the Kamukunji Police Station in broad daylight.
In the footage seen by Kenyans.co.ke on Tuesday, August 23, the brawl began when a plain-clothed officer in a white jumper arrived at the station's reception.
As he walked in, his colleague who was on phone walked towards him and attempted to greet him. However, the cop in the white jumper landed two blows on his colleague in quick succession.
The uniformed officer stumbled for a while before getting back on his feet. He approached his colleague and the two engaged in a verbal altercation.

By this time, three other police officers had surrounded them. The cop who was off duty, however, launched a second attack on his colleague, throwing a left hook punch.
A third officer quickly jumped in and separated the two by pushing away the uniformed policeman. The agitated plain-clothed cop, however, followed them to the other part of the police station.
A female civilian was also caught up in the melee as the agitated officer punched and kicked her out of the way. It took about six officers to restore calm at the station.
The two law enforcement cops were led to separate rooms and the crowd that had assembled at the precinct dispersed.
Police have since launched investigations into the matter. However, it remains unclear whether the duo was apprehended. The cause of their altercation was also yet to be established.
The Officer Commanding the station did not respond to Kenyans.co.ke queries on the matter.
This was the second time the police station was in the spotlight in the last two months. On July 25, an exposé aired by NTV claimed that a senior cop at the station aided a convict to escape.
The detainee, a Ugandan national, escaped from jail with the help of three officers - who were charged with aiding and abetting a crime.
