Kenya has continued to cement her legacy in the tourism sector after four women were ranked among the best in the 2022 edition of Africa 100 Travel Women Awards.

Titled the Top 100 Travel and Tourism Personalities in Africa, the award seeks to celebrate women in the continent who have excelled in various sectors such as Tours and Travel, Aviation, Hospitality, Tourism leadership and Media.

The Award ceremony will be held on Monday, October 31, at Akwaaba African Travel Market in Lagos, Nigeria.

Jessica Nabongo, a Ugandan-American travel blogger, scooped the top position for becoming the first black woman to travel to every country in the world.

Safari Rally Kenya lauded Wahome for the amazing feat of emerging among the top brass of the industry.

"Congratulations to our safari rally HOD Hospitality, Faith Wahome for being the winner of the award, best in Hospitality, in the Top 100 Travel and Tourism Personalities Awards Africa. Cheers to more wins," WRC stated.

Kenya has continued to hold the fort in continental and global awards, showing her prowess across various sectors.
