Media Council of Kenya (MCK), on Tuesday, November 29, announced industrial placement opportunities for students to prepare them for the job market.

The internship opportunities, set to run for three months, were made public by the Directorate of Public Communications, which is under the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy.

According to MCK, the internship programme will commence in February 2023 and run till April 2023. Beneficiaries will earn Ksh15,000 per month.

"The media council of Kenya, in partnership with recognised media houses, is implementing the industrial attachment programme that is geared towards providing those undertaking media-related courses in universities and middle-level colleges with practical work experience before graduation and to prepare them for the job market," MCK's statement read in part.
