President William Ruto reverted to his signature Lexus LX 570 car model for the first time since taking over as Kenya's Head of State.

From images shared on Wednesday, January 11, by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Administration Police Service (APS), Ruto dropped the presidential Toyota Land Cruiser.

Kenyans.co.ke established that the Head of State first used the car on Tuesday, January 10 when attending the police constables pass out parade in Kiganjo, Nyeri county.

The same was used on Wednesday during the Administration Police parade at Embakasi, Nairobi county.

Notably, the Lexus is similar to the infamous KCU 192H car which he frequently used during the campaigns.

However, the new car did not have a number plate with a coat of arms placed at the front - which symbolises his status as the highest power in the country.

Additionally, Ruto's presidential standard and the Kenyan flag featured on the car.

The President dropped the Lexus LX 570 when he took over from his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta for the presidential Land Cruiser - a model that was also used by the former president.
