SMS

Machogu noted that one would be required to send the student's details - index number- accompanied with the initials KCSE to 20076.

The KCSE initials should be capitalised.

Additionally, there should be no space between the index number and KCPE. For example, 00000000000KCSE.

The SMS applies to all mobile networks; one is charged Ksh25 for the service.

KNEC Portal

To receive a candidate's result through the portal, access the KNEC website first.

Once you have accessed the portal, click on the year the candidate sat for the exam. In this case, select 2022.

Enter the index number of the student, then click submit.

Upon, submitting the details, the student's results will be displayed on the screen.

While there are no charges for this option, one is required to have a reliable internet connection.
