The late Professor George Magoha, long revered as a man of valour, was also a man of great taste - especially in real estate, judging by his village mansion.

The former Education Cabinet Secretary, who was pronounced to have passed on upon arrival at the Nairobi Hospital on Tuesday, January 25, left behind a Ksh250 million estate, including his mansion that was built at Umiru Village in Yala, Gem Constituency in Siaya County.

The former Cabinet Secretary for Education in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration built a home that is befitting the great man that he was.

The shiny mansion is a one-storey behemoth covering several acres of land and spots an off-white colour covering the entire top floor's exterior.

The lower floor, on the other hand, is covered in an alluring brown exposed brick and a stacked balcony protruding on one end.

The countryside home finishes off its frontage with a row of manicured garden hedges that integrate a greenery yard of many short trees.

The conspicuously white and impressive mansion defines luxury, peace, and a mix of modernity and enduring culture of happiness.

Combine varnished two palm trees that stand tall at the entrance of the mansion, Magoha's house is externally plastered with a lower layer of mushroom tones that blend into one snazzy wall.

The brick creation on the balcony lets in the light through a series of inlets that Magoha and his family enjoyed.

These creeping fern drapes on the balcony peacefully usher one into the first-floor living area of the Professor's house.

By sides, Magoha's house is surrounded by a stunning tree glade that allows visitors to have a glance at the house right from the gate.

The white cherry walls blossom on tree tops that constantly provide weeping willows that create the utmost softness of the compound.

While the white-painted column holds a grooved roof that pine into the disjointed levels regens with a slatted wall of blinds and vertical glass panes that match the awesome entrance and stairway.

Magoha's village mansion is truly the epitome of luxury, especially, its sculpted exterior abode that protects inhabitants from the scorching elements of the sun.

In the documents presented to the National Assembly's vetting committee on Thursday, March 20, 2019, Magoha had various sources of income, including rental houses, investments in treasury bills and income from his profession and fixed cash deposits.
