Radio presenter cum renowned musician Nazizi Hirji on Tuesday, January 31, announced her exit from Vybez Radio after amassing three years at the station.

"Sadly, my journey at Vybez Radio has come to an end. Tune in tonight for the very last show with the headmaster.

"The last three years have been such a blessing to me. I am thankful we had the chance to show the world that a reggae show can be more than just silly jokes," she stated.

The radio presenter, however, did not reveal her next course of action but thanked her co-host, Sheriff Juma, popularly known as Muzikal Sheriff.

"To the Vybez nation, thank you for reasoning with us, thanks for tuning in and supporting Cease and Sekkle from day One. I will truly miss you all.

"Positive vibes will keep going, the journey Continues. To my bredrin Muzikal Sheriff thanks for all the memories. You're the best co-host. I'll miss your jokes," she noted.

Her departure from the media house marks the exit of another star as the company continues to trim its payroll.

The recent mass firing and exits from the company spelled doom for the giant media as journalists such as Mercy Korir, news anchor Sharon Momanyi, seasoned Foreign Affairs editor, Lilian Odera, Seasoned journalist Frank Otieno and editor Ted Malanda tendered their resignations.

Recent reports revealed that a section of the journalists was compelled to sleep at the offices as a result of the three-month salary delay which rattled the company.

Recently, radio presenter Sheila Kwamboka announced her exit from Vybez Radio and unveiled that she would replace Kamene Goro at Kiss FM at the station's breakfast show.

The Group's Chief Operating Officer, Martin Khafafa, affirmed that Kwamboka was a great addition to the team following her 20-year experience in the media industry.
