"In terms of supporters of national coalitions, far fewer supporters of Azimio offered any names at all with the same applying to those who professed to support neither coalition," the statement read in part.

According to the report, the high cost of living was cited as the major problem Kenyans face in their local areas garnering 48 percent. This was followed by hunger/drought (25 per cent), unemployment (13 per cent), and water infrastructure (three per cent) among others.

17 per cent of the respondents indicated that they always or often slept hungry, with more Azimio than Kenyan Kwanza supporters showing that the condition affected them (20 per cent vs 14 per cent).

The inverse is the same, with the majority of Kenya Kwanza supporters (56 percent) pointing out that the condition has never affected them as opposed to Azimio supporters (44 per cent).

29 per cent of the respondents also pointed out that the launch of the Hustler Fund was the major achievement of the Kenya Kwanza administration, more than any other legislative enactment since he assumed office.

Subsidising the cost of fertiliser received a five per cent approval rating while enhancing national unity and improving security rounded up the top three with four percent each.

Completion of infrastructure projects, reducing the cost of basic commodities, and extending the electricity grid received a three, three, and two per cent respectively.

Two per cent of the respondents expressed confidence that Ruto's government successfully provided jobs or financially supported the needy.

CS Kindiki was also ranked the top-performing CS in a recent report by Infotrak, which ranked Ruto's Cabinet during Kenya Kwanza's first 100 days in office.
