Jamaican artist Miguel Collins alias Sizzla Kalonji, on Saturday, April 1, went viral after he was captured mimicking ongoing protests by Azimio la Umoja.
The artist copied some videos that had gone viral internationally, noting that the youth were major participants in the demonstrations.
He likened the youth to the Biblical story of Goliath and David - where the latter used a stone to kill the giant.
Sizzla added that he would also join in the demonstration if he were in Kenya.
"This is for the youth in Nairobi. Kenyan lifestyle. David killed Goliath with a stone and sling. I could also go to the Kenyan market like this.
"David was using a sling not the Kenyan youth though," he teased.
Online users joined the conversation as Kenyans narrated their experiences on the ongoing protests by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
"Hahaha. I am in Nairobi, Kenya. Pipeline Estate has been the latest to experience the demonstrations. Some people seem to love it," Simon Mbote commented.
"This Jamaican star should come to join us in the demonstration and sing for us for motivation," Mark John opined.
Azimio la Umoja commenced their anti-government demonstrations on March 20.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga stated that the demonstrations aimed to have President William Ruto address the high cost of living, open the IEBC servers and stop the recruitment of IEBC officials.
Since the rallies, videos of the confrontation between the protesters and police have gone viral and shared among international online users.
