There are various letters and numbers inscribed on most cars spotted on the road. Unknown to many, however, all of them hold different meanings.

Not only do the letters and numbers signify the type or brand of the car, but they also explain the performance of the car as well as the car's body style.

Notably, with some specific car brands for example Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, there may be some additional letters and numbers inscribed.

Some of the common letters include GTI, RS, AMG, DL, EX, GLE, M, SW, TSI, and LX.
