The National Police Service Commission (NPSC), on Tuesday, June 6, declared over 1,000 vacancies in various departments.
In the statement, applicants were urged to express interest in the following roles; boiler assistant, cook, housekeeping assistant, driver, senior support staff, assistant office administrator, and mortuary attendant.
"The commission invites applications from qualified persons to fill several positions at the National Police Service," read part of the statement.
Other vacancies were Secretary of Administration, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Economist, Deputy Chief Legal Officer, Counsellors, Accountants, and Information Communication Technology Officers.
All the vacancies are in various job groups according to the commission.
How to Apply
All interested applicants should send their applications online through, services.npsc.go.ke/recruitment.
On the recruitment portal, applicants must register if they lack a profile.
Once logged in, on the left side, there are several tabs to manoeuvre the platform, including vacancies and personal details.
On the Vacancies tab, select the job you are interested in and continue with the application process.
Additionally, the commission urged the applicants to visit the official website www.npsc.go.ke, for detailed job descriptions.
Applications should be addressed to the Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, National Police Service Commission, Sky Park building at Westlands, P.O Box 47363 -00100 Nairobi.
All short-shortlisted candidates will submit original certificates for verification during the interview.
However, applicants for the positions at job Group R and above will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
The chapter covers leadership responsibilities, oath, conduct, and restrictions on activities of State Officers, among others.

NPSC called for applications before June 20, 2023, at 5 pm EAT. The commission warned that any recruitment irregularity would lead to automatic disqualification.
