A brand new Bentley Flying Spur V8 was pictured along Kimathi Street in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), on Tuesday, June 6, by city residents heading to work.
The grey vehicle with black colours on the bonnet and sections of the window panel was of a KD registration number series signifying that it was registered recently.
Through Google Reverse Search, Kenyans.co.ke established that the vehicle was a 2016 Bentley Flying Spur.
Various car dealers estimate the vehicle to range between Ksh 25-30 million. However, the price can rise with the fluctuation of importation costs, including taxes.
Features
The sedan vehicle has a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and can attain a maximum speed of 295 kilometres per hour.
Notably, one of its most predominant features is the option of switching between automatic and manual modes - changed by a knurled gearshift paddle button located next to the steering wheel.
"Spur features a more sporting look than its predecessor, with crisp lines and an eye-catching dynamic roofline, over the life of this second-generation model.
"The Flying Spur V8 S was dark tint engine spin veneer," Bentley documents on its website.
In a match with its sleek exterior feature, the manufacturer also featured air conditioning and a rear seat entertainment control system in the vehicle's interior.
The vehicle's leather seats also match its luxury status.
"Its large boot offered on all Flying Spur second generation models means you can easily pack golf clubs and other large luggage – something generally unheard of in cars capable of such exhilarating performance," Bentley adds.
Other features include adaptive cruise control and the lane departure warning, which helps the driver maintain lane discipline.
