Azimio’s diehard fan Nuru Okanga has revealed the immense support he received from Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga following the release of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

In an interview with NTV, Okanga, who played cagey on his responses on whether he scored 401 marks in the exams, divulged that Raila gifted him loads of cash and urged him to celebrate the milestone.

Okanga, however, declined to reveal the amount he received but lauded Raila for playing a pivotal role in his political career and aspirations.

“Raila has sent me a lot of money today. He told me to buy a cow and celebrate with my family,” he stated.

“Raila, my president, he's the one who has made me become a brand in Kenya. I want to tell him that I receive many phone calls from people seeking him to be vocal in the political scenes.

“They are telling me that they are tired and want the return of mass action. Kenyans will have to endure four more years for their actions of electing this regime," Okanga warned.

The diehard Azimio supporter further alleged that he was set to join Alliance High School despite receiving multiple offers from principals.

He also lauded Embakasi East MP Babu Owino for offering to sponsor his high school education.

“I want to go to Alliance and I've already gotten a sponsor. Let me just inform those in Alliance that I will be joining them,” Okanga pointed out.

“Expect great things and I will talk to the teachers to grant me the right to be educating you people on matters politics."

Further, Okanga revealed the pivotal role that Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah played in his decision to return to school. Wajackoyah advised him to be learned and attain educational certificates if he sought to join elective politics in the 2027 General Election.

He added that Wajackoyah ensured that he enrolled in Mumias Muslim Primary School and also funded his education.

“When I did KCPE, I wanted it to be made public so that when it comes to the 2027 elections, no one will accuse me of failing to complete my education.”

The Azimio supporter trended for the better part of Thursday afternoon, with various online posts claiming he recorded 401 marks

At the time, Okanga revealed to Kenyans.co.ke that the index number posted did not belong to him, and he had yet to access the results.
