King Charles Visit
A highly anticipated event, King Charles, the monarch of Kenya's former colonial power, arrived in the country alongside Queen Camilla on October 31.
Despite concerns about the colonial past, the visit unfolded with a mix of historical acknowledgement and a focus on current relations.

Julius Malema's Visit
In November, Julius Malema, the outspoken leader of South Africa's Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), arrived in Kenya to attend the launch of the Pan-African Institute in Makueni County.

President Widodo's visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between Kenya and Indonesia in trade, foreign relations, agriculture and security.
Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's Visit
Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida embarked on a 2-day state visit to Kenya in May with a view to enhance cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure, education and economic growth.
The visit included discussions with representatives of Japanese companies based in Kenya, resulting in an agreement for Japan to assist in the development of the Mombasa Port.
During his visit, Prime Minister Kishida appreciated Kenya's efforts in resolving the conflict in Sudan and jointly condemned Russia in the Ukraine war, calling for an immediate ceasefire.
