Starlet Wahu Murder: New Twist as Women Accuse Suspect of Assaulting and Conning Them

Several women have confessed to allegedly being assaulted and conned by the main suspect in the murder of Starlet Wahu.

According to some of the victims, the suspect usually lures the victim from dating sites, spending money on them before agreeing to meet at Airbnbs.

At the accommodation space, the suspect is accused of assaulting the women before forcing them to borrow money from their family and friends which he takes for himself before vanishing.

One of the victims was reportedly forced to record an indecent video which the suspect used to blackmail her.

Additionally, one of the victims revealed that after extorting money from his relatives and friends amounting to approximately Ksh50,000 the suspect tied her to a chair and locked the door from outside.

Meanwhile, another victim who spoke to the media described the character of the main suspect before their date went sour. She stated that he was nice and friendly when they got to the Airbnb after meeting on a date.

At midnight, the victim revealed that the man started to beat her up asking for money from her. He threatened her using a knife and an iron box coercing her to transfer money to his account.

She positively identified the main suspect in the murder of socialite Starlet Wahu on Wednesday who was gruesomely murdered by the man suspected to be a serial killer.

The confessions have raised questions as to how many women have fallen for the trick and not reported it.

According to CCTV footage at the building, the duo came in together seemingly from a date, they got onto an elevator heading to the fourth floor.

However, while inside the unfortunate happened. The lady was found in a pool of blood on the floor, with stains all over the apartment.

Others in the building revealed that they saw the victim rushing out of the building bleeding and calling the police on him. He was traced at Mbagathi Hospital where he was being treated for a stab wound on the leg.

However, detectives suspect he stabbed himself to interfere with the investigations. He is currently being detained for 21 days.

The late Wahu was laid to rest on Wednesday as investigations continue. An autopsy revealed that she died due to excessive bleeding from the stab wounds.
