Pastor Dorcas Rigathi celebrated Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as the most loving and caring man in the world.
In a heartfelt message to Gachagua on his 59th birthday, the pastor acknowledged that there were many misconceptions about the DP owing to his public demeanour.
Contrary to many perceptions held by Kenyans, she stated that Gachagua was a loving and caring man adding that many people often get shocked when they meet him in a natural set-up.
"When he is in his natural habitat and environment, many people do not even know if he is the same one that people speak about out there. He is a great man, he is a man who loves God, a man who loves to serve people and he serves them with dedication.
“I have a good husband, he is good to my two sons as a father, and he is a good leader who works tirelessly. Many people misunderstand him when he puts on a stony face, but he is a good father, a warm husband and a great leader where he stands.“
As a father, she stated that the DP was also present in the lives of their two sons, adding that he was the pillar of the family.
On his 59th birthday, the spouse of the DP wished her husband good health and prosperity in his work.
“Happy Birthday to my extraordinary man, husband, companion and friend. You are the pillar and a covering of our family. You take everything in stride and are truthful to a fault.
"Kevin, Keith and I celebrate the wonderful gift of your life. You are the best father and husband," she penned.
Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas met in 1987 at Kenyatta University. In the past, she narrated how she met the love of her life when undergoing a rough patch having lost her father at a young age.
The duo have two sons, Keith Rigathi who is a medical doctor and runs the family business and Kelvin who is a software engineer.
