Two marshals from Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba’s office,  escaped death by a whisker when a safari rally car almost ran them over on Sunday.

The incident which happened during the World Rally Championship (WRC), depicted the two aides standing by the roadside.

However, the driver expertly navigated and skidded avoiding hitting the man.

The other aide ended up in a thicket having missed being hit by the car by inches.

In a statement directed at the rally driver in question, CS Namwamba stated, “Ease ease, Charlie, those are my Stewards there!.”

Coincidentally, this is the second incident during the event where spectators escaped death narrowly.

On Saturday, a video depicting a rally car skidding, moments after losing direction went viral online.

Spectators who were witnessing the rally ended up in the way of the vehicle with one lady falling to the ground, narrowly avoiding being hit by the speeding car.

However, Kenyans praised the drivers for skillfully navigating and averting the accident.
