British PM David Cameron Expected to Visit Kenya

Reports indicating that British Prime Minister David Cameron could be visiting Kenya, have emerged.

President Uhuru Kenyatta reportedly wrote to the British PM, extending his invitation to have Cameron visit Kenya in early 2016.

The invite, made in July 2015, is set to provide an opportunity for bilateral engagement between Kenya and Britain.

“The visit will accord us an opportunity to consult on a wide range of issues of mutual interest at bilateral and multilateral levels,” the invitation letter reads according to Capital.

Cameron has served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2010. In May this year, he won the first Conservative majority since 1992.
