Duale and Marwa Tell Joho to Prepare for Police Arrest

National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has stated that state agencies will arrest Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan as part of the ongoing war on drugs.

Speaking during a political rally in Mombasa, Duale stated the Joho should not panic or fear President Uhuru Kenyatta or his deputy William Ruto since they were not the ones who would carry out the arrest.

He advised the Mombasa County boss to relax and wait for his imminent arrest.

“Uhuru and Ruto do not arrest drug dealers. Why is he panicking? Everybody will be dealt with by state agencies and people should not panic. Joho should relax because state agencies will come for him,” Duale stated.

The statement came as Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa gave the strongest hint that the state was closing in on drug-related investigations on Joho.

“Tell and tell Joho to surrender those militia immediately…if someone thinks they will use a militia to protect illegal drugs, they will fail. I can sure him that if he is waiting to be arrested by the local policemen that he has compromised, then he will be surprised,” Marwa stated.
