Stop terrorists before they accomplish their mission. This is what Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Deputy President William Ruto when he paid Netanyahu a visit at his Jerusalem offices.
The Israeli leader urged Kenya to deal ruthlessly with those perpetuating terrorism adding that Africa should not relent in the fight.
"The ongoing terror attacks are a disease. We are fighting fundamentalists and we must not allow them to succeed. Kenya is our ally in this war," said Netanyahu.
The Prime Minister promised to support Kenya to defeat terrorism spelling out that Israel would provide expertise, equipment and training.
He also noted that communication and intelligence were critical in combating terror adding that Kenya and Israel faced similar challenges.
During the meeting with DP Ruto, Netanyahu sympathised with Kenya after more than 100 students were killed in the Garissa University attack.
The Israeli PM also said that Italy and Germany were willing to help Africa in fighting terrorism and that the three countries reached an agreement on the matter.
On his side, Ruto thanked PM Netanyahu and said that Kenya was ready to cooperate in sharing intelligence.
