Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has been summoned by the Jubilee Party following the chaos which erupted during the election of County Board officials at the Bomas of Kenya.
Reports indicate that the Senator was summoned by the Party's disciplinary committee after his supporters reportedly clashed with those of fellow gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth last week.
At the same time, the party is said to have extended the summons to Kirinyaga Governor Joseph Ndathi and his Murang'a counterpart Mwangi wa Iria.
A number of Members of Parliament including Nakuru East legislator David Gikaria who are accused of being involved in similar fracas were also invited before the committee.
Their supporters are said to have caused chaos in their respective counties after disagreeing on the composition of officials of the election boards which will foresee the April nominations.
