Kenyans on Twitter came out strongly, on Thursday, to condemn Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter for seeking support to Impeach Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru.
They criticized the lawmaker accusing him of being a hypocrite who had been hired to do what they termed as 'dirty work' - impeaching CS Waiguru.
The MP was in Court early this year to face charges of gross misconduct and abuse of power after he insulted police officers at the Gilgil Weighbridge.
A video of him angrily spurting foul words against the officers to the point of threatening their jobs, made rounds on the internet forcing him to answer to the charges in January.
Tweeps referred to the incident and claimed that he should be the last person to fight corruption as he was not 'clean' either.
Mr Keter who has been lobbying for support from MP's, affirmed that he would get enough backing and would see his motion through.
“Unlike Igembe South MP Mithika Linturi, who heed to pressure from the presidency, I will not back down,” he stated.
Keter wants CS Waiguru to step aside to allow for investigations over the loss of Sh791 Million National Youth Service Funds.
