Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma has had to endure negative publicity after a photo of him engaging in an intimate dance with an alleged sex worker went viral.
Ranguma was captured in the unflattering moment after he attended an event organised by Kisumu boda-boda operators at the Victoria Club.
Witnesses say that the event had been going on smoothly, but during the entertainment session, a sex worker took advantage of the situation and asked the governor for a dance.
Not to waste an opportunity with the county boss, the twilight girl unleashed her best moves, pulling the excited governor closer.
“The governor could not turn her down because he was already on the floor and the said lady had pushed her way to where he was. But I think his security could have blocked her because he is a respectable man,” an aide to Ranguma explained the situation.
The photo has provided fodder for political attacks against the county boss with many questioning his moral leadership status.
The Victoria club incident has also awakened attention to another photo where the Kisumu Governor was caught pecking a local woman on her lips during the opening of Tumaini Supermarket in Nyalenda estate.
