Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has sensationally claimed that leaders in the National Super Alliance (NASA) have been holding secret meetings around the country with a motive of destroying the Office of the President.
According to Mr Kiunjuri, NASA is planning to change the Constitution and render the Presidency powerless if it wins the August 8 Election.
The Devolution CS noted that the Opposition's power-sharing strategy would reduce the Presidency to a ceremonial position.
"The National Super Alliance (NASA) team is sitting in boardrooms deliberating on how they can share power in the government. A government they are not working to build," Kiunjuri said.
Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony at Kanjuri Boys High School in Nyeri, the minister highlighted that the NASA team ought to focus on mobilising voters instead of how to remove Jubilee from Government.
"They are plotting on how they take over power from Jubilee while instead, they should be busy mobilising people to register," Kiunjuri mentioned.
According to NASA's plan, the four core leaders - Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, are guaranteed high posts in case the Alliance candidate wins in the upcoming Election.
