A Nakuru Member of County Assembly narrowly escaped death on Tuesday morning after suspected arsonists set her house ablaze.
Menengai West MCA Lucy Kihumba's house and car were torched in Kambi ya Moto estate at around 3am by unknown individuals.
Her colleagues at the county assembly empathised with her on social media even as they urged for investigation to be carried out on the matter.
We urge for expedited investigations into the cause of the fire so as to give the family and residents of the area justice and peace of mind

It is reported that the ward representative lost property estimated at Sh40 Million in the morning fire.
Nakuru County Assembly has previously been on the limelight after a rift emerged between the Speaker and Deputy Speaker with members of the two divides physically fighting it out in public.
It is yet to be established whether political rivalry could have played part in the incident.
