Mohammed Ali's Dead Woman Photo Sparks Outrage

A gruesome picture of a dead woman posted by Jicho Pevu's investigative Journalist Mohammed Ali, has stirred a storm on social media. The woman, whose face was exposed, was among the bodies exhumed from a Mandera mass grave discovered on Sunday.

Ali was criricised by a section of Kenyans for being unethical and not empathising with the family of the 48-year-old woman, who was found buried naked with some of her teeth missing.

The picture elicited diverse reactions with some Kenyans supporting Ali for the commendable job of unveiling the injustices that were happenning in Mandera even as others condemned him.

In his defense, the brave journalist emphasized that portraying the real situation as it was in Mandera was imperative, so that the Government could act on the injustices perpetrated in the North Eastern region.

He added that he would continue posting the images until something was done.
