Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth has demanded a repeat of the Jubilee nomination exercise that was conducted on Wednesday.
Through a statement issued on Thursday morning, Kenneth cried foul over how the process had been conducted after his competitor, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko took an early lead in the tallying exercise.
Mr Kenneth claimed that the process was not credible, free and fair and called a repeat of the nomination process.
He further indicated that the Jubilee Party was to blame for the shambolic elections because it had indicated that the voters would use the National ID cards only instead of the list of party members.
The former Gatanga Member of Parliament also cited that a number of polling stations were opened late and closed early giving an example of Dr Opundo polling stations in Makadara Constituency which he claimed opened at 1.00 pm and closed at 2.00 pm.
