Four Kenyan Journalists have been granted the honour to board Pope Francis' plane as he embarks on a historic trip to Africa, during which he will visit Kenya, Uganda and the Central African Republic.
The Journalists, Mark Masai (NTV Anchor), Michael Mumo (Capital FM’s Editorial Director), Bernard Namunane (Daily Nation’s Chief Political Writer) and Ephy Mwangi (NTV Creative Editor) are already in Vatican City, where they will accompany the Pope on his journey to Kenya.
After the defining trip, the four Vatican Accredited Media Personnel (VAMP) from Kenya will again accompany the Holy Father back to Italy before returning to Kenya.
Pope Francis will arrive in the country on Wednesday at 5pm for the fourth visit to Kenya by a Pontiff, after three other visits by Pope John Paul II.
Upon arrival, the Pope will immediately head to State House where he will hold talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
