Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar Hassan on Sunday joined his team, Hamlets, for a football tournament at Burhani Grounds in Mombasa.
The renowned lawyer dropped his suit and dressed in football jersey to lead his team to the quarter finals of the tourney despite not qualifying for the semis.
"Participating with my team the Hamlets on a tournament at Burhani Grounds, we reached the quarter finals but hope to win another day," read one of his Facebook posts.
Photos shared online show the senator skillfully tackling his opponents and even striking towards the goal post.
