Kenya has received warnings of looming El Nino rains expected to hit the country as from October 2015.
The Government has expressed its intention to prepare for the disastrous rains with plans already underway is some parts of the country.

People leaving in the Coastal low lands were advised to move to higher grounds as part of the disaster management strategy.
In Sierra Leone, however, the dreadful rains have already set in. Reports from emergency management officials indicate that at least seven people have died with hundreds left homeless.
Streets and property in the West-African country have been submerged by the massive floods.
Going by the scenes from Sierra Leone, this is what might just happen in Kenya if the forecasted rains fall.
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero however, assured Nairobians that the county Government had plans to manage the predicted floods.
