Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has for the first time revealed the condition of his daughter Rosemary who is recuperating in a South African hospital.
Odinga on Monday took to Twitter to announce that his daughter was recovering well from a non-cancerous tumour which she had been diagnosed with.
The ODM leader, who ended his tour of the United States on Sunday, thanked Kenyans for their prayers adding that Rosemary had sent greetings to the nation.
“In South Africa visiting Rosemary. We thank God for her terrific recovery, thanks to your prayers Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all!” he stated.
A week ago, the former Prime Minister flew to South Africa and the United States on a one-week tour to visit his eldest daughter as well as hold various meetings.
Rosemary, who has expressed interest in the Kibra Parliamentary seat, was admitted at Nairobi and Aga Khan hospitals in February before being flown out of the country.
