Senator Johnstone Muthama's Wife Agnes Kavindu Gets Jubilee Nomination Ticket for Machakos Woman Representative Seat

Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama's first wife, Agnes Kavindu received a Jubilee Party nomination certificate on Monday morning.

Ms Kavindu will be vying as woman representative for Machakos County in the August poll.

Senator Muthama and Ms Kavindu are reported to have divorced in 1983 with the court giving the latter custody of their three children. 

Last week, Muthama quit the Wiper Party and stated that he will not be defending his seat in the upcoming elections, but will instead be spearheading Raila Odinga's presidential campaign.

He Senator accused Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka of dictating and imposing incompetent leaders on the Kamba Community.

The outspoken Senator further indicated he will not be campaigning anywhere for the Wiper party.

On Thursday the Wiper Party replaced Senator Muthama with former Education Chief Executive Officer in Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s government, Mr Jackson Musyoka Kala
