Six Students Arrested for Burning Down Dormitory

Six students from Chepkechei Secondary School in Kericho County have been arrested following the burning down of a dormitory in the school.

The six are suspected to have deliberately set fire to the timber structure.

Nothing was salvaged in the fire, causing damage property worth millions of shillings.

Luckily, no one was injured.

Speaking to Citizen News, Kipteris location Chief Francis Chepkwony confirmed both the incident and the arrest of the six boys.

This is not the first time disgruntled students have found themselves on the wrong side of the law for trying to or actually burning dormitories in schools.

If found guity, the students risk jail time.
