A soldier at Moi Air Base in Eastleigh, Nairobi was shot dead and two others injured in what has been cleared as an accidental shooting.
The incident occurred inside the barracks' armory on Wednesday night as the soldiers were changing and servicing their guns.
A report on The Standard indicates that one of the soldiers accidentally discharged bullets from his gun, shooting the three.
One was pronounced dead at the hospital while two others are recuperating.
