Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko on Tuesday sought to explain the untidy state of his office as depicted in photos making rounds on social media.
Sonko claimed that the numerous clothing in his office allowed him to save time he would spend going to dress up at home.
"This setup allows me to work for longer hours without having to go back home to change clothes," he posted
In the photos, the Senator's work place has a wardrobe full of clothes with several caps and hats suspended across one side of the office.

A twitter user had previously challenged the Senator to come clear on why his office, which is situated at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), looked cluttered.
The Senator is known for his flashy dressing style which he says resonates with the youth that he represents. However, Sonko announced on Monday that he was letting go of his flamboyant look owing to the formal stature of the Nairobi Governorship which he is eying come next elections.
