Stop Tarnishing my Name, Pastor Ng'ang'a tells Media and Police

Pastor James Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism has lashed out at the media & police insisting that they should stop harassing him and dragging his name in the mud.

Pastor Ng'ang'a wants the media to stop linking him to an accident that took place along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway on July 26 where Mercy Njeri was killed and another victim sustained serious injuries and is currently in critical condition.

Several media reports have shown that the man presented to court to answer charges of reckless driving, Simon Maina Kuria, was not the driver of the vehicle but merely a decoy.

Pastor Ng'ang'a is not amused in the manner the police have been following him everywhere, including supermarkets, in order to trace all his movements.

Inspector General of police Joseph Bionnet has insisted that the investigations are still ongoing to determine whether it was Pastor Nga'ng'a who was driving or if it was Mr. Maina who was presented to the court with a neck brace.

Controversy has surrounded the case as some witnesses claim they saw Pastor Ng'ang'a driving at the time of the accident. He has since denied the allegations.
