Residents of Bungoma County are still reeling from shock after the body of an 18 year old boy was found near Khachonge market.
The boy, a student at Kisiwa Technical College was found covered in blood on Saturday morning.
His body had several stab wounds.
The boy's father, Nelson Wafula was overcome with grief as he explained that he had just seen his son the previous night as they had supper together.
The boy was allegedly killed on his way home from a funeral.
Residents claim he could have been killed elsewhere then his body dumped at the market, Citizen Tv reports.
The reason behind the killing is yet to be established.
Residents now want security to be beefed up in the region.
