Social media was on Thursday abuzz with Kenyans discussing various topics among them CORD leader Raila Odinga, who being trolled under the hashtag #RailaRottenDeals.

1. #RailaRottenDeals

Social was abuzz after Nyanza’s largest agriculture investor, Dominion Farms Ltd on Wednesday claimed opposition leader Raila Odinga and other politicians affiliated to him are frustrating his business through extortion, violence and eviction threats.

Under the hashtag #RailaRottenDeals, a section of Kenyans online mocked the Odingas following the revelations by the Dominion Farms Ltd CEO Calvin Burgess.

Mr Burgess alleged that trouble began when he refused to fund Mr Odinga and his ODM party, which, he said, would have been against US law.

2. Kajiado West

Kajiado West appeared on the popular twitter topics in Kenya after Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Alex Ole Magelo announced he would be vying for the area's parliamentary seat in the August General Election.

3. #KivuthaInWiper

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana was Thursday trending since he was expected to switch from his Muungano Party to Wiper Party during an event in Kambu town.

4. Salgaa

This accident prone area was the subject of online conversation after one person was killed and three others injured in an accident involving five vehicles at Migaa near Salgaa.

The accident caused heavy traffic on Eldoret-Nakuru highway.

5. Suleiman Shahbal

Mombasa businessman Suleiman Shahbal featured on the trends after he held a press conference where he responded to Governor Joho's claims that the government's fight against drugs was insincere.

Shahbal, who is Jubilee's Mombasa governor aspirant, stated that there are "another 50-60 (drug) dealers who need to go". He complained that Mombasa was turning out to be another Colombia under Joho's watch.
