The Jubilee Administration's popularity has continued to drop, after a new report released on Tuesday revealed that the citizenry had drastically lost confidence in the Government over the last three months.
According to a survey report conducted by Ipsos Kenya, the performance of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy William Ruto hit the lowest point since last year.
The survey pointed out that Kenyatta's rating dropped to 35% from 52% while that of Ruto decreased from 34% to 28%.
"Over the last two years, these confidence ratings now stand at the lowest since May 2014, when Uhuru and Ruto ratings were 32 per cent and 27 per cent respectively," said Hilda Kiritu, the Ipsos Public Affairs Director.
In terms of performance, 73% of Jubilee supporters indicated they were satisfied with Kenyatta's government whereas only 20% of CORD's followers supported the ruling administration.
"It is worth noting that nearly four times as many Jubilee supporters give him (Kenyatta) such approval as do those of CORD with 20 per cent," read part of the report.
Another research conducted by Infotrak Research and Consulting Firm in November, showed that popularity of Kenyatta had dropped by a whooping 26% while that of Opposition improved by 7%.
