More and more people have taken precautions to protect themselves from thieves, pick pockets and snatchers who prowl the streets of Nairobi and other big towns.
The thieves on the other hand, have upped their game, learnt new tricks and ways of stealing from hardworking Kenyans.
Some have organized themselves into cartels that prey on patrons in uptown restaurants using simple yet ingenuous moves.
A clip recorded by citizens who had marked out one such cartel shows how a group of three people -man, woman and security guard- have perfected the art of stealing within minutes and walking away unsuspected.
