Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna on Thursday night fearlessly tore apart Senator Mike Sonko during an interview on KTN's Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) show.
Miguna discredited Sonko who is also eying the governorship of Nairobi, stating that he was not qualified to be anything.
The lawyer added that it was a huge mistake that Sonko was elected as Senator and further criticised his (Sonko) public efforts to help out people during tragedies.
Miguna defined Sonko's Rescue Mission as a political gimmick orchestrated to gain political mileage.
He also pointed out that Sonko was not well versed with his role as the Nairobi Senator, as he had never demanded Governor Evans Kidero to account for the Sh42 Billion 'looted' in Nairobi as indicated in the Auditor General's report.
In the show, Miguna also described Sonko as an illiterate man who unscrupulously gained his degree, hence unable to run the Capital's government.
“He is not qualified to be anything. The man can hardly read. The man does not even know his functions as the Senator,” Miguna stated emphatically.
“A county like Nairobi which is a capital City cannot be run by drug cartels, cannot be run by people who are functionally illiterate,” he added.
In the same interview by Jeff Koinange, the lawyer threw mud at Kidero highlighting that he had failed the city.
Miguna concluded by saying that he was the best candidate for Nairobi's top seat in 2017, as he was visionary and had the educational qualification to govern the county.
