The victim, Kevin Wire, was reportedly taking photos with his friend Joseph Musiko at the falls when the unfortunate incident happened.
Learning was disrupted at the campus after news of the accident reached the institution from Musiko who called the school seeking help when he was unable to save his drowning friend.
According to a report by Citizen TV, Wire slipped when the two were capturing memorable moments at the falls.
Wire's parents, who went to the site of the incident, were shocked by the sad news of their son's predicament whom they described as a brilliant student.
Reports reveal that Ndano falls has claimed many lives through numerous cases of fatalities.
The Campus Principal said that the university had commissioned divers to search for the missing body.
