KANU, Maendeleo Chap Chap, Kenya Patriotic Party, Economic Freedom Party and Narc Kenya to Endorse Uhuru Kenyatta

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy William Ruto are set to be endorsed by five political parties as they seek to step up their re-election bid.

Kenya African National Union (KANU) led by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi is set to lead the party's delegates conference at Kasarani Stadium Gymnasium where they will affirm their support for Kenyatta.

At the same time, four other parties will hold similar conferences in different locations across the City to make a similar endorsement.

These include Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC), Kenya Patriotic Party, the Economic Freedom Party and Narc Kenya led by Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant Martha Karua's.

MCC leaders will meet at their Lavington headquarters, Kenya Patriotic Party will be at Boma Hotel and the Economic Freedom Party at Nyayo Stadium.

The Jubilee Party will also hold its delegates convention at the Bomas of Kenya to officially unveil Kenyatta and Ruto as its candidates for the country's top seats.

The Head of State is expected to attend all the five conferences before heading to Bomas for the Jubilee Party meeting.

Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju invited 19 interim Party Officials from every county including Governors, Members of Parliament, Senators, Woman Representatives and Members of County Assemblies.
