Trustee of Friends of Jubilee Foundation Reveals 13 Bilionares Funding President Uhuru Kenyatta

 A trustee of the Friends of Jubilee Foundation, a lobby group fundraising for President Uhuru Kenyatta re-election, has revealed powerful individuals funding the President’s campaign.

Speaking to a local daily, the trustee stated that the Friends of Jubilee Foundation was made up of wealthy businessmen, lawyers, bank owners, insurance magnates and billionaire businessmen known in the country’s political and business circles.

The trustee stated that the wealthy individuals and powerful lobbies have lined up billions of shillings to fund the campaigns.

“We have come together as friends of Jubilee but you need to understand that we are not the only ones supporting the party. For your information, there are so many groups that have come together to support the Jubilee Party campaigns, the majority of which the President does not even know exists,” said the trustee.

He revealed the following as the people who will be supporting the president's campaigns:

1. Business guru and prominent advocate John PN Simba (chairman),

2.Titus Ibui (secretary)

3. SportPesa architect Paul Ndung’u (treasurer),

4. Equity Bank founder Peter Munga (member),

5. CMC director Joel Kibe (member),

6. Business mogul Peter Muthoka (member)

7. Pius Ngugi (member). Ngugi is one of the biggest producers of processed macadamia nuts in Kenya.

8. Billionaire Mary Wambui Mungai. Mungai is a business woman with massive interests across Africa.

9. Karachuonyo MP James Rege, ICT guru.

10. Mombasa-based billionaire Suleiman Shahbal. He is Jubilee Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Mombasa.that county.

11. Mombasa-based billionaire Sam Kairu

12. Events management guru Maina Wandere of Wonderjoy and Stanley Kinyanjui of Magnet Ventures. The two own companies that have a significant stake in major companies that trade at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).

13. Antony Mwaura, an engineer with massive influence in the construction industry.
