3 Things Raila Odinga is Set to Do in US

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is set to do three things during his five-day tour in the United States.

In a statement, the DC Metropolitan Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chapter stated that Mr Odinga will first address NASA supporters at Cocobana Bar and Grill, 2031A University, Boulevard E, Hyattsville, Maryland, between 6 pm and 8 pm on Friday.

“This is an opportunity for Kenyans to come and hear from our enigmatic leader who, over several decades, has stood up and sacrificed for freedom, liberty, justice and democracy for all Kenyans,” the group stated.

The NASA US team also sent a statement stating that the Opposition chief is scheduled to hold two meetings in New Jersy on Saturday.

According to the team, Odinga will hold the first meeting with the diaspora at St Patricks High School Auditorium - 492 Bramhall Avenue Jersey City, NJ 07304 between 2 pm and 6 pm.

The team noted that this will be an open public meeting.

The statement also highlighted that Mr Odinga will later attend a $100 Dinner Dance that starts at 8 pm to 1 am at the Clinton Manor Banquet Hall 2735 US-22 Union, New Jersey where he will be a guest of honour.

“The cover charge of $100 includes food, drinks and dance. Because space is limited, RSVP is required and payments through Cash app is encouraged. No payments will be accepted at the door,” the team stated.

The Opposition Chief arrived in the US on Wednesday morning on a mission to hold high-stakes meetings with the American Congress members and Kenyans living in the US.

On his arrival, Mr Odinga held several high-level closed-door meetings with House and Senate Congressional Committee officials regarding the state of Kenya.
