Former Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) boss Ndegwa Muhoro on Monday stated that he had done his best during his tenure at the investigations agency.
Speaking during his handover ceremony, Mr Muhoro noted that he was proud of his achievement at the agency and was leaving a proud man.
He called upon his successor to continue with the projects he had initiated and urged the DCI staff to offer all the necessary support to ensure a smooth transition.

Mr Muhoro's remarks were echoed by Mr Kinoti who called on the agency's staff to embrace teamwork and support the new leadership.
The former boss had served at the DCI for the last seven years and now waits for further communication from the Public Service Communication regarding his next appointment.
Meanwhile, a similar ceremony was conducted at Vigilance House where former Presidential Unit Commandant, Edward Mbugua, took over as the new Deputy Inspector General in charge of Kenya Police.
The handing over ceremonies took place following an announcement by President Uhuru Kenyatta making changes to the police service.
Addressing the nation on Friday from State House, the Head of State noted that he had made changes to the police service to improve service delivery and enhance efficiency.

In the changes, Mr Muhoro, former Deputy Inspector General of Police Joel Kitili and Deputy Inspector General Administration Police Simba Arachi were all replaced and forwarded to the Public Service Commission for redeployment.
The President also named a section of his new cabinet where six Cabinet Secretaries from the previous cabinet were retained.
